  14. Considering it's 4'33", it still would be very interesting to hear the different takes fitting on to one CD. B) damn, and all the time I was hoping no one would notice.... It's the tape speed mike. They recorded the original too fast or too slow or whatever. Anyhow, it's the tape speed-
  15. I agree with this. Although it has been a little trickier to follow the discussions of 2-CD tests, I'm getting used to it, and it really didn't bother me that much to begin with. The more music, the better my chances of being introduced to something good. True. More free tunes is better than less free tunes. The discussion has its own value though and I certainly find that easier to follow when one disk is involved. Again: no limits AFAIC. I prefer single disk compilations though, which must mean I value the discussion more than the chance to be scared out of more money... I wrote the FAQ as a guideline. There are no rules really (it's almost like jazz).
  16. hey deus, when does your day start? IOW how come you're only listed as having your birthday at 7 in the evening (GMT+1)? You're not pulling out leg are you? Anyhow, here's another cake. 16 candles of course
  17. So, like, are we all supposed to not post again until March 6? Is that the idea? well Jim, you may only post 7 times until that date and save #5000 for the birthday thread. So post wisely. :rsly:
  18. hey Jim, what's up with that new avatar? I thought you didn't like wheaties?
  19. no limits, but no expectations either. as I wrote elsewhere, no one is EXPECTED to produce 2 disks.
  20. who needs post count? what's the difference of Eastern Time with GMT? (think global) :rsly:
