  1. Chet Baker Featuring Warne Marsh
  2. Mozart - Piano Concerto No.18, K.456 and Bruch- Violin Concerto No.1
  3. These Two Sam Most CDs on Xanadu are big favorites of mine. He is what I would refer to as a real bebop flute player. Though I like on flute Bobby Jaspar, Frank Wess, James Moody, Yusef Lateef and (some of ) Roland Kirk, (some of) Herbie Mann I find Sam Most to be my favorite.
  4. A delightful Duo SACD. Both Music and audio quality are really excellent.
  5. A very well done recording in both musicianship and audio quality.
  6. Just placed this CD (Japanese), on the currently listened to thread. Larry is correct, a happy and much enjoyable session. All the musicians involved are in top form.
  7. Larry Kart comments, from a different thread, are right on the target. A very nice album.
  8. I haven't listen to this one in a while. Will pull it off the shelf and play it today or tomorrow.
  9. Mendelssohn - Piano Trio No.1, Op.49. and. Parry - Piano Concerto No.in F Sharp Major
  10. Kirk Lightseys' solos on Evidence and Society Red are especially excellent.
  11. Beethoven - String Quartet Op.18/4 and Mendelssohn - Piano Trio No.2, Op.66
  12. I very much like the Moravec and Rubinstein versions of Chopin's Nocturnes. But the one that is on that same level, or perhaps even a tiny bit better (in my opinion) is the recording by Nelson Friere. If you are not familiar with the version by Friere, I recommend you seek it out.
