  3. Playing better is not enough. But it's a step in the right direction, compared to the four Barcelona-Real Madrid matches at end of the last season. Now we just have to WIN. Do we have to wipe out the "fleas plague"?
  4. Shit! One more championship for Barcelona (Spanish Supercopa). And this time we -Real Madrid- played better in both matches... but there's a little Argentinian guy called Lionel who fucked it all up!

  6. I haven't bought this disc yet, so I cannot give my impressions. But after reading Bob Sunenblick's infuriated and probably overreactive email, we should get things into perspective. So far I just have read three different opinions regarding its sound quality on this board (in this thread and in the other one focused on Uptown Records): * Allen's * jazzbo's * Fer Urbina's More input?

  13. Completely opposite reaction. Never found a way to love the raw voice, it just grates and irritates. (Not that its a case of spending a lot of time trying to, but when I went whole-hog into the blues about six or seven years ago, well - my reaction to hearing the Wolf was similar to my reaction to hearing latter-day Coltrane.) Try again, Dan (the Wolf, not the latter day Trane, which sounds awfully strident and irritating to my ears).

  19. Of course they will check this forum, as they will inspect the Facebook accounts of all his "friends" there. Amen to that. Being the father of three young children (9, 7 and 4 years old), the simple thought of the magnitude of this crime just makes me sick.
  20. That's really good news. Thanks for sharing!
