  3. Thanks all!
  4. Thanks a lot, Niko. What you say about different people having access to different pages is true. I just can have access to page 388 (1960 in the Work! section), then directly to back cover.
  5. If anyone owns a copy of Chris Sheridan's Monk bio-discography, and it's not too much work, could he/she list the complete European tour of the Thelonious Monk Nonet with Ray Copeland from October-November 1967? Exact date, location and venue will do. I can have access to part of the book from Google Books (so I can have information from a few concerts ) but not to the Work! section of this wonderful research work. Thanks in advance! Agustín
  6. Thanks Steve and Harold! Savoy single disc LPs - anyone?
  7. On April 18, 1944, Johnny Guarnieri led his first recording session for Savoy, which produced four tunes: These Foolish Things, Exercise In Swing, Salute To Fats and Basie English. Line-up was Billy Butterfield (tp) Hank d'Amico (cl) Lester Young (ts) Johnny Guarnieri (p) Dexter Hall (g) Billy Taylor (b) Cozy Cole (d) Label on original 78 rpm discs (Savoy 509 and Savoy 511) listed the group as Johnny Guarnieri's All Star Orchestra, though Bruyninckx lists Johnny Guarnieri Swing Men. I'd like to know how this group was listed on LP issues (Bruyninckx says Lester Young Orchestra): Savoy MG 12068 Savoy MG 12071 Savoy SJL 2202 or any other LP issue. Thanks in advance!

  20. And Dick Hyman!
  21. Just checked it on Google Books. No additional tracks listed.
  22. Could anyone who owns a copy of Chris Sheridan's bio-discography of Monk check if he lists more than the 9 issued tracks (the eight originally issued on the Swing and the Vogue discs, and "Hackensack", included on CD releases)? Thanks in advance! Agustín
