Milan was doing fine the last time I was in touch with him, maybe two years ago. Nowadays he's only lurking on this board, more active elsewhere.

Just released (May 5). First Surfin' Bichos studio album in nearly 30 years. Fernando Alfaro and the rest of the group members have been involved in different projects -all interesting- alongside these three decades: Chucho, Mercromina, FA y los Alienistas... But this is the real thing, the transition btw the 80s and the 90s, the germ of the indie scene in Spain, a raw mix of guitars and keyboards, salted and peppered with the most intringuing lyrics in Spanish you ever heard: sex, violence, religion, mental trouble... There is a welcome-back tour about to start. I already got my ticket for the May 18 concert in Madrid.

Both concerts have been circulating among collectors for years. For the Prague concert, there's even a video available at YouTube. Looking at the CD contents, it looks like the Helsinki concert includes a track ("Domino") which is additional to the commonly circulated bootleg. Just ordered it from amazon.co.uk.

+1 Plus: we cannot have anything but gratitude to them for these 40 years. Despite the possible ups (90% IMHO) and downs in their releases.
