  6. Argonaut "A Louder Silence" (Late Night Tales) 2018
  7. Agree with you on Vol.1 .... nevertheless Vol.2 has a number of beautiful Art Farmer + Jimmy Heath tracks (reminiscent of "From Vienna With Art" on MPS) and although me not being a dedicated follower the Slide Hampton tracks are excellent (and feature some of the best Jimmy Woode on tape) ..... .... BTW Just remembered about the legal dispute reg Vol 2 : The plan was to feature both sessions with Phil Woods from May 1969 .... the tapes were remastered (und were said sounding superbly ....) but then someone talked Phil Woods into withdrawing his approval and so it happened .... the project responsibles at Universal Austria had to restart the talks with other musicians/lawyers and the result was - with long delay - Vol. 2 as mentioned above ....
  8. Quite similar regarding items on offer .... Red Octopus had comparably a smaller trading area ....

  12. Even more of a dangerous place in the late 70`s/ early 80`s, when the small shop was virtualy packed with imports from Japan, US and more or less all stuff released in Europe .... in VINYL format .... but things didn`t change too much in the subsequent first decade of CD`s either ....
  13. Unfortunately - the historic place nowadays looks like this .... : https://www.airbnb.at/things-to-do/places/1239308
  14. Tough to admit, but true ....
  15. Yes, the Red Octopus After Vol.1 was released, some legal disputes were initiated (don`t remember the details any more) resulting in change of content and a delay of 2 years for Vol. 2 .... when finally released it completey flew under the radar und vanished quickly without notice (which is pity as the sessions with Art Farmer and Jimmy Heath are superb) .... (officially) unreleased remained sessions with Charles Tolliver, John Surman, Dusko Goykovich, Karin Krog and others ....
  16. Two fine southern soulsters back-to-back ....
