You're right .... nevertheless it is fun to search for these bargains - which can be found for white wine in Austria and reg reds in Italy .... still ....
Well there are some nice Chianti with some ripe- and sweetness out there .... Negroamaro is an interesting varietal, do like the producer Ognissole and his IGT vintage 2014 .... nice price/value ratio too ....

Thnx - didn't expect an conservative classical approach at all. Looking back the clarinet was not a favourite instrument of mine but in the last year's things started to change .... so will likely give this recording a try ....
Believe this is one of the worth hearing renditions of the Brahms Q's .... you may be right this being music suited better for the darker seasons though ....
IMO doesn`t get better than Bobby King + Terry Evans + Ry Cooder and their take on James Carr`s immortal "At The Dark End Of The Street" ..... Carr owns the song, but King/Evans/Cooder come very close .....
