In light of Big Al's organ travesty (noted in this thread) which consists, but may not be limited to, his lack of Jimmy McGriff records and his recent aquisition of his first Brother Jack McDuff record (shame shame shame!!!) I am changing the rules for all posters. In order to be a member of the Organissimo Forums, you must own the following 10 organ records. All members disobeying this rule will be banned. In order to prove to me that you have these records, I need receipts and/or photos of you and all 10 records emailed to me no later than 7pm today. And here they are: 10. Wow. He was my favorite character on the show (after Angie Harmon... oo la la!) I was very bummed when he left and really haven't watched the new ones because of that. One of the best surprises in life is to watch an old movie and see him. "Hey, it's Jerry Orbach!" RIP.

I'm not talking necessarily internet radio stations (we're on a few, too) but satellite radio stations like Sirius and XM. But yeah, send it along! The more "air"play, the better.

Interesting article. I moved this to the "Jazz Radio" forum even though it doesn't really talk about jazz... but both XM and Sirius have some nice jazz channels. Does anyone know how to get on their playlists?

Oh Lord! On Adult Swim I just saw a promo for Sealab 2021 where the mexican guy and the blonde girl were "singing" Aguas De Marco by Jobim from one of his recordings (I have it on the Verve Jazz Masters 13 disc... can't recall who the female is on the recording). It cracked me up! ATHF was crazy tonight. Ted Nugent was in it!
