  1. If you're into techno-bling, they make great pendants. With 400, you can have an interesting ceiling. I recommend the book, 1001 Things To Do With Your Kenny G CDs. I know it's content specific, but I have found that most of the suggestions can readily be applied to Diane Schuur and Wynton Marsalis discs.
  2. Well, she had already caused the demise of the BN forum, hadn't she?
  3. Just having a little fun, Chuck. I don't read their stuff.
  4. Thought this might amuse some around here. Our two little airheads have found each other! Perhaps they will hold hands and lock-step into the sunset.
  5. Sorry, I didn't know that you knew. I believe there is another program, Fusion, that does the same thing.
  6. The depth and insightfulness of Melanie Phillips and Ann Coulter
  7. What great animation! We need a new Easter movie.
  8. Thread at 11.
  9. As strongly as I disagree with the politics hugged by Rolf and Conrad, I think this would be a poorer forum without them. Now, do they clap on the right beat? Well, the answer is probably yes and no—as it were. Do they groove with the music? I'd stake my diminishing reputation on an affirmative answer to that one!
  10. Wonderful photos, thanks, Brandon. Love thos one of Dizzy...

  13. Unless we are talking about legendary geniuses, I'm not playing.
  14. Thanks for reminding me, I'm sure that closet is larger than your average airport stall.
  15. That Rolf and Conrad each have an abiding interest in jazz was never a question in my mind. We have Log Cabin Republicans and we have Juke Joint Republicans—our friends belong to the latter faction.
  16. Here's a topic that might attract Conrad (or tear him asunder): Connie Boswell - Ann Coulter: Your preference?
  17. I assume that they have jazzy roots, but how deep?
  18. The depth of Alice Coltrane's artistry. or Alice McLeod—would she have made it as such? The poetry of Buddy Rich. Saxophonist - President: A tough choice? Betty Carter: whose nightmare did she become? The prose and insight of Scott Yanow.
  19. In my 28 years of contributing to Stereo Review, I wrote close to 3000 reviews (8-12 per month) plus countless articles. Imagine how difficult (if not impossible) it would have been to not repeat certain words and phrases. And, yes, I recall writing "blues drenched".
  20. Louis and Felix: Soul Brothers?
  21. My work on the St. Croix slave trade requires that I deliver files in MS Works format, compatible with PCs. I tried everything to avoid reaching this point, but this evening I had to capitulate and order Windows for my Mac. I hope Jobs will forgive me. Feel free to console...
  22. The Hanna Montana papers The literary legacy of Leslie Gourse—was her work underrated? Mosaic's Complete Botti Sessions. Has the empty bed blues gripped Catholic clergy?
  23. From the looks of it, so far... Rejected forum topics
