That's really weird because upon seeing this thread, the first tune I thought of was the version of My Buddy, played here. Another tune/lyric is 'I Concentrate On You'. Such a loving and focused song if ever there was one. Strangely I haven't heard Ella sing it yet (I'm assuming she does on her Porter 'songbook' album).

Well, put i this way, when I knew even less about jazz and Speak No Evil was one of the first albums I bought, I remember my wife asking "do you like your new album?". The only thing I could say was how do five bloke know how to play together like this and what gorgeous tunes they were. Although Juju is a storming disc (my brother in-law who is not a jazz fan, heard it when I bought it and said it sounded like someone was 'crying through their sax'. It still doesn't do it quite like the quintet though.
