  1. This one got lukewarm reviews when it was released. But listening to it now, I think it sounds pretty good. Better than I had remembered. Very good arrangements; fine soloists.
  2. Back in the mid 70's I bought all of Tyner's releases and I was quite excited by this one. Over the years, I gradually lost interest in him, though I still purchased the odd release. But this one from 1975 still sounds good.
  3. Yes - strong, swinging, sophisticated charts. Bill's arrangement of "You Go to My Head" for the Gibbs Band is one of my favorite Holman arrangements. A great Band too. Gibbs out in front on vibes leading and soloing with great enthusiasm. Al Porcino on lead trumpet, Mel Lewis on drums, and top rate musicians in all the other chairs. How could you go wrong?
