    As I recall it was well received. I believe it received a high rating in Downbeat - 5 stars perhaps (if that means anything). I certainly enjoyed it when I bought it. I was much more into Tyner's music then than I have been lately, though it still sounds good IMO. Now:

    While I seldom listen to what may be called "free jazz", I will say that this is a marvelous set. The music is not "conservative" in any way, but it should appeal to a wide range of jazz listeners. At least it does to me.
