  2. I read a bit about Collier when I was in Chicago. He was playing at the Jazz Showcase in support of a new album, but I didn't get a chance to see/hear him. I did listen to some of the new record (on Bandcamp). Pretty good. ...As you suggest, mjazzg, I hear lots of not-quite-fully-digested late Coltrane and Pharoah in his sound. But he's young. ...Like lots of other young players, he definitely vibing on the early-70s "spiritual jazz" thing that's come back around. Somebody to keep an eye on.

  8. You can share images from the internet here on this forum. No need to message them. To do that: Search for an image that you'd like to share on the web. Right-click on the image and select Copy Image Address. On the forum here, select to Reply to a Topic on this (or any other) thread. Then select the Insert other media button > Insert Image from URL. Paste the image address in the dialog box. I hope that helps!
