  1. Hmm, what do Organissimo posters eat? Seems a lot of nominations for blue. (Of course Green is reserved for jacknife )
  2. Never realized this existed. I've got "All Day Long."
  3. I've always found Roland Kirk's music to be highly emotional.
  4. Structurally Sound Good Gracious! Sunday Mornin Buhaina's Delight My Conception Up and Down Right Now! Midnight Blue True Blue Something Else and for those on a diet....Minor Move.
  5. Damn! these are good. I particularly like "green is beautiful."
  6. Let em Roll Happy frame of Mind The Jody grind
  7. Come on, Dan. We need a little levity after the heavy-going blindfold music exam.
  8. Home Cookin' Mo' Greens! Wahoo! Out of the Blue A Chip Off the Old Block
  9. Some more: "Destination Out!" "Workout/Another Workout" and the obvious...."Swing,Swang, Swinging"
  10. Excellent!! How about "Reach Out" "Settin' the Pace" "The Real Thing" and the alltime perfect one: "LD + 3"
  11. As a transplanted Jamaican, I subscribe to the Rastafarian view that no capital improvements are necessary while inhabiting this temporary abode.
  12. I promise the Organissimo boys that I'll be turning up at their Ann Arbor gig on October 9th and 10th sporting my snazzy newly-repaired shoes.
  13. Okay, that does it guys! Let us now go back to the high tone and urbanity which was originally expressed with the start up question on this thread: exactly what do you read while dropping your kids off at the pool?
  14. I tend to collect stuff primarily from the 50s to the present day, but I do like Bix and Pops. My problem with these earlier recordings have to do with complaints over the sound quality. Maybe I should check out tht "Bix Restored." Have to wait till I get enough coin. How much does it go for?
  15. Thanks Big wheel... I didn't know this... I just dug the message and wanted to share it with ya'll.. Well I'll have you know, Mr. Randissimo, that my competing thread, "what do you read on the toilet" has apparently attracted more early traffic than your thread has. Trash always beats out substance.
  16. And they've been sitting in the shop for a couple of weeks now even though they were ready for pickup last week. Haven't gotten around to it yet. Too busy posting on this board.
  17. I've got two pairs of shoes, and one of them is in the shop being repaired. The tailor claims I can get another year out of them for $50.
  18. I got the Mercury set, remember? B)
  19. This morning I grabbed the newspaper; didn't quite complete the obituary section
  20. Moose has been out of the navy for too long.
  21. Great way to advertise the board, Rooster!! I highly approve. Actually, a lot of those silly thread topics were started by me. But I'm not the only one! Thank God I don't spend time on that uptight board. B) I mean, how can you pick on such a wonderful topic as "How many OBI strips do you have?" It's a wonderful topic idea.
  22. When I was young my father used to stick on Louie Prima, "Call of the Wildest." Imagine my surprise when I ran into a collection of Prima's stuff from three sessions including "Call of the Wildest." I've listened to it quite a bit and there are some good spots, but I cannot get into this stuff. the music is atrocious. His singing is decent and he is definitely funny, but the music, again, just sucks. Sounds like a vastly inferior Louis Armstrong. Am I missing anything here?
  23. That would be nice, Rooster. I'm sure I can find something worthwhile to offer in exchange.
