Listening to this now. Mono. I am really enjoying it. Nicely recorded with very decent sound and stage.

Thinking that the 2CD set I mentioned and the single 3rd disc from Coltrane "Box" pretty much covers everything he did those three days?

I read that a significant part of this collection is of poor SQ. So maybe the release will consist of what recordings are worthhy?

At the recommendation of the trusted few, I bought the download via Prostudiomasters. I think it is indeed asonic upgrade albeit not a dramatic one. This one is warmer, fuller and a little more precise to me.
