  10. I agree Fran, this set is fantastic! It may not be everyone’s "cup of tea," however This bands enthusiasm permeates many of these recordings and is highly infectious, another winner from Mosaic. Cannot wait for the Basie Set!

  17. I made no pledges, as I am already completely disgusted with myself and my inability to stop buying music! I did not want to disappoint myself again this year as I already have low self esteem. So, I made a purchase from Chuck, Mosaic (the Jazztet and the Woody Herman), and an order from CD Universe, and only three days into the year! Starting the year with a Bang and now broke but happy!
  18. I just recieved this email from Rob Lake at ESP records in regards to the A. Ayler release: "Unfortunately, the pressing of our Maeght Foundation release was delayed. Our accountant has been issuing refunds for all of these orders. I am surprised that you have not heard from him. This CD will go to pressing this Friday. It will be ready on January 18th I can either issue you a refund for your purchase, or you can wait until the 18th I am truly sorry about this delay, and that you were not contacted. You may direct all further inquiries to me personally" I replied that I will wait
  19. Is that the one with "Watkin's Blues" or something to that effect? The one that just starts off with Doug walkin' the blues for quite some time. His lines are terriffic on that. Yep it sure is: Doug's Blues Track 1

  22. I've always used my I-Pod in maual mode. I have a 120gig LACIE External drive that I use (however, it is full and now I am saving for a 500gig drive). I just delete the selections that I have listened to and drag and drop new selections on the I-Pod. Auto sync seems like too much file management time to me. (I guess having an external hard drive makes it much easier).
  23. A Link to Pi With some info Pi Records
