Exactly. How does Amazon log sales from, for example, sales to US buyers by, for example, Amazon Italy? If the Amazon Italy price is so much less simply due to exchange rate, that's one thing. But if there's another factor(s) involved, that would be interesting. Like if the deal with the estate pays a different royalty on EU sales than US sales or something like that.

My real interest is how Amazon logs these things.

Will sales totals be calculated by country of sale or country of buyer? In other words, if I buy something from Amazon Italy but it's shipped to me here in the US, will that be logged as an Italian sale or an American sale?
