Did not know about the questionable quality....too bad, as the music is indeed great (and for many, rare).

Still not working...I empty my cache daily, if not more. Can't get there in either IE or Firefox...don't have any site-block set for there...weird...

None of this shit is set in stone or "guaranteed" anyway...it's "popular music", and when the "populace" needs to move on, they do. I mean, music can be anything, anyway...what catches on catches on by consensus between musician and audience, not by some divine edict or something. So....I just don't get what the "problem" is, if he's in fact claiming there is one, and...I'll take y'all's word on that one. Cat's apparently got a lot of books about...stuff. I've had similar issues over the years (not lately, not w/FIOS). What I think happens is that the DL gets gets momentarily "diverted & then never gets put back on track again. Eventually it times out. Either that or your modem/network card/whatever is buggin'. That can produce the same results. But if you're dpoing DSL, you're still using the telephone wires, and with traffic what it is these days, hey... Then again, all I know is what ISP techs have told me over the years, and if they really knew how to fix stuff, I'd probably not be on FIOS right now...

ISPs will ration your bandwidth at any given moment unless you're paying for a more premium package, and even then... Try downloading a succession of smaller files and see if the problem persists.

Stuff don't live on if it don't get destroyed every now and then... What really "destroyed" rock and roll was time and cultural evolution. Once hip-hop started getting recorded (and all that comes with/from that, explicit & implicit), the cycle began all over again. But really, who cares? If you want to stay stuck on rock (and/or roll), there's more than plenty opportunities available, more than plenty people places and things more than willing to take your money to do so. If you were smart, though, you kept all your records.

Check w/your IPS. It might be their issue.
