I saw this movie the other night on a "guy's night out." Strange stuff. Then I heard on the radio that some 70% of department store Santa's have criminal records (and those are the ones that got the jobs! Imagine the rest of the applicants!).

Santa came early! I just found a darbuka in a garage sale. The sound is incredible and it originally came from Rhythm Fusion in California. B) It looks like this:

Actually, i was representing a Latin record company in the late 1980's that released several "shape cd's". These cd's were not round at all (as the name "shape cd's" implies) and they play just fine. I still have several somewhere! B)

You should know I feel that Les Paul is a national treasure (I have the 2 cd set The Complete Decca Trios -- Plus (1936-1947) But, it looks like he needs a bra in that photo! I am so ashamed.... les told a story about his trio playing for the president---roosevelt! he also told a pretty woman who passed by that he felt like a condemned building with a new flagpole! he still plays every monday night at the iridium in nyc. not bad for 87!
