Going through season 5 of the Simpsons. A lot of fun since i had not started following the series at that point, so it's all new stuff to me. Also, little bit anal about it, but once i watch an episode i have to listen to the commentary track afterwards. Find the crew funny, you get a little bit of the feeling about how they make the episodes together and the interacting between different groups, writers, directors, drawers etc.

Evra did made the pass to Giggs, it was Ronaldo who spotted Evra open in the left side. Thought that Ronaldo deserved the credit.

THE career of champion boxer Anthony Mundine is in doubt because of a serious eye infection. The WBA super-middleweight champion and former rugby league star re-entered a Sydney hospital suffering from limited vision, the Nine Network reported last night. Mundine's left eye, operated on last week, reportedly became infected over the weekend after he removed a protective contact lens at a restaurant and cleaned it with his mouth. Mundine returned to the hospital and at one stage feared the eye would have to be removed. "I feared the worst, I feared I could lose the eye," he said. Mundine also feared for his boxing career, saying: "I just felt that maybe this it for me. The doctor said it could be weeks, could be months for the natural healing process to take place." The mishap scared him. "You put yourself in that situation and you think you're going to lose an eye, or a lot of your sight," he said. "You'd definitely be scared, too, especially if you're 'The Man' Mundine." AAP

Not only that but they are lamely pretending they are commentating the fight live, acting as if they were not aware of what happened to the fighters afterward, while they're at it why don't they make predictions. I'd rather watch the fight with the vintage commentators. Guess ESPN is too cheap to buy the rights.

Not a bad game, not a great game either. Ronaldo showed why he is one of the premier playmakers of the game orcherstrating the first MU goal. MU was the better team in the first half but an indidual effort by Malouda helped Chelsea to put the score even. In the second half United still had the better chances they couldn't capitalize on them though gotta say that the pace was suiting more Chelsea. By spurts the game was intriguing but it was very sporadic, too much wasted energy. Van der Sar turned out to be the man of the day, shutting out the Chelsea side in the penelaty kicks blocking consecutively 3 shots to help his team win it 3-0. Don't think i ever witnessed that before.

What do you mean by "unknown"? Are You All Reet? is a Cab Calloway recording from 1941. (Btw, I find it funny how both in the midst of and after Chu Berry's solo the band shouts "Yes, he's all reet!", but they have nothing to say about Dizzy's solo!) From what i understood in the Gillepsie autobiography, there were some tension between Berry and the veterans of the group and the young Dizzy.

Saw my first game of 2007-2008 between Marseille and Strasbourg. Nothing to write about a dull 0-0 tie. Tomorrow the Community Shield will start the EPL season. MU will face Chelsea, for the Yanks the game will be broadcasted on FSW.
