Given that Coltrane died when I was a little kid, I never thought I would be buying so many new John Coltrane albums. That has obviously changed in recent years, hasn't it?
I just learned that there was a Burt Bacharach Placidyl album! It was an abridged reissue of his 1960s Kapp album, but with cover art that makes it look like a 70s A&M album. Not sure if that one includes a note inside.

Do you have Peggy's Placidyl album, with the note inside in which she thanks the medical community for keeping her medicated?

I played the Sax solos in"Taxi Driver" for Herrmann. He was upset that he could not use a recording of sax from England. He seemed to be O K with my playing. Sadly, he died before movie was released.
