  1. Well I'm meeting a bunch of friends at Dags on Saturday night. It's just up the street a bit so I'll try and stop by and say hello.
  2. I hope you guys get a gig the weekend after Christmas. I'll be in Lansing and would love to finally catch a set or two.
  3. You know, I think I may have a Roosevelt Franklin finger puppet around somewhere. Probably in a box with my Nauga. Speaking of long lost Sesame Street characters, whtat happened to Guy Smilie or Sherlock Hemlock?
  4. Didn't they have a little tune that they played before the skits that went: "Roosevelt Franklin Elementary School!"? How about a Roosevelt Franklin clickable smilie!
  5. Disappointing loss last night. After that Samari Rolle interception was overturned, it seemed like the Titans couldn't get any momentum. Perhaps they were looking ahead to this weekend vs. Indy. Pennington did a fine job for the Jets. Poop.
  6. The week I was born, the number 1 R&B song in the USA was 'Cold Sweat'!
  7. Does the software allow you to change the name of the 'Warning Log' to something more fun, like 'Shit List'?
  8. My birthday falls right between the end of Blue Note's "Golden Age" and the start of the Liberty Era.
  9. Going to be a great game, Paul. That's for sure. I'm pulling for NE. I really hope the Pats beat up Indy since the Titans are playing them next week for what will probably mean a first round bye in the playoffs.
  10. That is a smoky bar! Are you guys playing in town anytime the weekend after Christmas? I'll be in Lansing for a few days and would love to catch a set. Wow. Fat Amy. That brings back some memories. We used to sell their CD on consignment at Wherehouse.
  11. I'll see what I can do, Dan. I actually worked for the company who handled the US marketing and distribution for TCB. Things ended kind of badly between Peter and my old boss, so I can't make any guarantees, but I'll see if I can find out anything.
  12. I did some work for TCB for a short time when I was in New York back in 1997. Peter is a real nice guy. TCB released what turned out to be Jerome Richardson's last recording. There is a lot of nice stuff on the red spine series, not to mention the swiss radio days series.
  13. No backlash, here! I think he should officially be named as our board mascot. A co-worker of mine really enjoys the Cat. I show him all the animations. He's always asking me when and if there is a new one!
  14. AfricaBrass, We need our Cat Shatner fix! Perhaps one for the holiday weekend?
  15. What Clint said. Good to see you over here, by the way. How is that iPod treating you?
  16. Dan, tell Bill Fenohr to stop back in too!
  17. He disagreed with a decision to ban a member here a while ago and hasn't been back. I hope he decides to return.
  18. No, it's not neccesary, but it would be fun! Why not try something new? BTW, rockefeller center, I think that wiki page you set up has been blocked. I guess they are not a free wiki site. Maybe B3-er can have his server guy set up a wiki page here if it doesn't cost anything. I think I just like typing the word wiki. wiki wiki wiki
  19. Hmmm...i did some editing, but now I am blocked?
  20. Cool rockefeller center! Check it out everyone! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blindfoldtestsignup
  21. Sure it does, but I don't think that would happen here. Even if it did, one can track changes. It would be interesting to see how our group would work with it.
  22. We should set up a wiki for a sign-up sheet. A wiki is a web page that all users can change/edit. It's kind of like having one post that everyone can access and edit.
  23. Awesome, Peter!
  24. Yeah, I have that disc too. It's a nice overview of that Detroit scene. Cool booklet and packaging. I heard Marcus quite a few times locally when I was living in Michigan. It was nice to see some of his earlier stuff making to CD.
