I am listening on stream today for the first time, after hearing about it in the obit thread for her. I like it too. Now on a stream of this Aussie soul jazz / mod organ record: Col Nolan & The Soul Syndicate – Whatever It's Worth A lot of fun. Probably closer to the contents of Nuggets than a Jimmy McGriff record though.

Keeping up the flow, my son's current favourite: the Yazoo comp of early Blind Willie McTell. He particularly digs 'Georgia Rag', which he believes is about an actual rag. I may invest in some Blind Blake this year Now on to Daddy's choice: Albert Ayler in Greenwich Village.

Eddie Palmieri - The Sun of Latin Music My 3 year old has been eying up the cover for a day or two and wanted to put it on.

Glenn Wilson – Elusive First ever listen to this. Very impressive baritonist. Not sure why I hadn't heard of him before.

Only heard about this one recently. I enjoyed it.
