I recall that there was a thread about this many years ago. There were three examples that I remember. Herb Alpert had two album covers from the same photo shoot. The cover of Cecil Taylor's Love For Sale was from a photo shoot which was also used for an album by somebody else. Ronnie Hawkins had two albums using the same photo. Also, the Dave Clark Five had two album covers from the same photo shoot. Here you go! 2008!

TTK, Chuck would know the answer, but I don't think the GI generation ever bought many records in the first place. My understanding is that record sales exploded when the '50s teens bought singles; and the LP sales exploded when the teens bought '64 Beatle albums and then again post-'67. I'm pretty sure the best selling albums of the Kennedy administration stayed on the chart for a full year, and even then their sales were small compared to, say, Jefferson Airplane albums.

Well; there's a reason I don't make a living as a political analyst! Not all the votes have been counted, but this Parliament will be very, very similar to the last one. The PPC got 5% of the vote (up from 1.6% two years ago), and won no seats. The Bloc Quebecois got 6% of the vote, and won 29 seats. The Liberals have won 153 seats, and will form another minority government. The absentee ballots will be counted tomorrow, so the final numbers may change a little bit.

Today is Election Day in Canada, and we will soon know the results. I would like to make a small prediction. There are five established federal parties, and all five support the idea of a vaccine passport. There is a new party called the PPC which is the only one opposed. The PPC was not allowed to participate in the debates, and has been pretty much ignored by the media. The polls show them at 6%. I predict that the PPC will do much better than 6% because they will not have to share the anti-vaxx-mandate voters with anyone else.
