Because in so far as I can see, you have no proof that there was any ill intention or harm done to you IN THIS MATTER by me. Whether my cousin wants to deal with you is none of my concern. On the other hand, if you won't deal with him because of the situation that occurred between us, then that's quite another story that I think we would be better handled either on the phone or in person. I cannot understand the sudden infatuation of some members of this board to express their hatred of me. Granted, I am blunt and direct, but I do not think this warrants a public outcry to see me burned at the stake. For those who continue to do this, I have but one suggestion for you and that is to quit hiding behind your computer and act like adults! Such name-calling and accusations are better suited to those of the pre-school age and if you can't deal with that then too bad! As far as addressing this issue to the owner of this site, be my guest! I would encourage someone to start a poll to determine if I should be removed from this site. I'm begging you, please do. Because if you remove me from this board, it is you people who are the ones in the wrong. I've done nothing to harm any of you! Thanks, but I'd prefer to deal with someone from the board or, at least, a company that has a secure on-line ordering site from which I can use my credit card. That's not to say Amoeba isn't reliable — just that, it's too much hassle for a disc that I could probably get from someone on here. Thanks for the heads-up though!

To be honest, I've never gotten into the RVGs...of anyone! I'm one of these people who finds the TOCJs, for the most part, to be better sound and quality. Hence, my reasoning for wanting that version of the album.

Alot of the tracks are very much the vein of soul jazz with organ. I would heartily recommend it as I was truly impressed.

I debated whether I should use this opportunity to once again point out that jazzhound used this board to air his vendetta, but I think that's evident to all, and even acceptable to some. The point is that he's just as much in the wrong as me, and because of that should be held accountable for his actions like I am. I'm sorry he feels as though I abused him, but the fact is that he's abused me about 1000 times worse than anything I ever did to him. Yet, the focus is still on my behavior?!?! I think this whole issue has gone beyond ridiculous, especially considering I've apoligized and he hasn't accepted it. I'm damned if I do, and damned if I don't I guess! Either way, I'm tired of being chastized for something I've already apoligized for. That said, it's a free world and if people enjoy critisizing the good ones among us, rock on! I didn't think it was abusive at all, nor did I intend it too be! Sarcastic, maybe! Otherwise, why would I repost it here so everyone can now critique it? I've apoligized twice already — and that's twice as much as the other guy has. I suppose everyone has there own threshold of what's abuse and what's not, but the bottom line is that I know what was intended and it was not meant to slight this gentlemen. On the other hand, if he interpreted it as that, why must it be a public issue? He could've easily resolved this is in private. Instead, he's done this! Well, I've been called a liar and cheat in the same post. You know I don't have the best relationship with some people on this board. There have been disagreements, and transactions gone sour. Some were my fault, some were theres. I don't proclaim to be perfect, but I'll tell you what...if you think for one minute you're going to get the best of me by posting on this board how bad of a person I am, you're sorely mistaken. To be the bigger person here, I will do just that and say "sorry". On the other hand, I would expect that you would now do the same since you've embarrassed me for no other reason than you misunderstood what was said.

My post gave a price and also the option for trade. It never said offer me $10 for a CD I was asking $15. The post was deleted because the disc was sold, but also because you decided it was convenient to use this board as a means to humiliate me. For that, you should be banned!

There was no abuse intended. You sent an offer and I never stipulated $$ offers on the Weston disc, but rather trade offers. In the meantime, you've now decided to go this route and that's fine, but it really says very little about a person if there first reaction is to publicly embarass a fellow board member and turn off their personal messenger when they don't get there way. You could've simply messaged back and said that's not how you understood the post to read in which case we could've had a polite discussion. Now, you've decided to act childish and that's precisely what should not be tolerated on a board full of adults! In the meantime, let me put this in the most blunt way possible...BUGGER OFF!

I was listening to this one in the car on the way home from work today, and it's a really nice disc! Lots of great chops, and it also had a very jazzy feel to it. Very much soul-jazz(ish). Any comments?
