  6. I'm still with the Coltrane set. In the end i played all the Garland Quintet tracks. All great music. Great set form start to finish
  7. Maybe not the best of Wesley's Minor Music recordings but it's always good to have a little more Hugh Ragin
  8. The Bird Curtis Quintet were the regular band at the Green Man in Blackheath, S.London I saw them several times there in the late 60 or thereabouts. I can't recall them making a very big impression on me back then.

  10. As a teenager I used to live quite near to Ms Regan. I never met her but was acquainted with her son. She was a regular on tv and variety bills in the 50s. Thanks for the reminder JIm
  11. Love this one. Saw the band live at London's Union Chapel during this tour. Hopkins was especially memorable, all over the bass. Great night.
