True,but not really what I'm looking for. The reissues seem a bit of a mish-mash unless I've missed something.

Pretty important stuff in my opinion. Is there anywhere else you can hear Mobley and Morgan developing their solos over several takes?

Good as the Atlantics are I'd like a nice collection of the RCA smaller groups.

You don't see many of these in the UK Dmitry.

I only have two 45-1773 Lou Donaldson - The Truth/Goose Grease 45-1774 Lou Donaldson - Politely/Blues for JP Off subject I also have a "Stereo Little LP2" by the 3 Sounds, L4248 Vibrations. With it I have a sheet of title strips and a sheet of small illustrations of he original album cover. Presumably for juke box use.Disc has small centre hole and VanGelder in the dead vinyl and Division of Liberty Records on the label. A nice little curiosity. If there's any interest I can post an image.

FWIW my Rega Planar 3 is still going strong after more than 25 years. I use a Rega Elys cartridge. The three screw fixing make fitting the cartridge easy but I had my last one installed by the dealer a few months ago. He gave the Rega a clean bill of health at the same time. His only comment was that I had a non-standard drive belt. I couldn't really justify he cost of the Rega belt.

I suffer from this phenomenon in a big way.

I've seen something similar on a few Impulse issues. A number of Blue Notes bore a small "For Export Only" labels. Quite a lot of US Columbia issues were marketed in the UK with every mention of Columbia blacked out with marker pen and a with a black circular sticker around the edge of the label.
