  1. I heard it was Allentown, PA. I met him back in school, he didn't appear to be this monster I hear about today; 'course, we weren't like asshole buddies or anything, just a friend of a friend.
  2. Sounds like a hellofa guy. Rip Pete Wilson.
  3. I drink Caffeine Free Classic Coke exclusively. Diet drinks taste like shit. Pepsi ain't made a good drink in 20 years; Pepsi is the only pop I drank during childhood.
  4. Johnny Mandel Henry Mancini Henry Winkler
  5. That would of made me angry enough to seek out a confrontation.
  6. Keith Jarrett. [Just a guess because I know he was with the revue/show in his formative years.]
  7. At one point yesterday, I couldn't access the board at all. I had some problems again earlier today, and once I got here, pages were loading very slowly and sometimes not at all. It's just this site that I'm having trouble with. Anybody else? No problem here (Groningen, Netherlands, 10:34 PM Central European Time/4:34 PM Eastern Time) No problem here, except when it went down a while back and I got sick with worry.
  8. I agree. In a way I'm glad I didn't see her, cancer's terrible.
  9. William Shatner Willie Nelson Nelson Riddle
  10. I've been doing that for months; it kind of sticks with you, doesn't it? I just saved a ton of money on auto insurance by switching to Geico. [somebody worked that in over on SOTW and I 'bout shit.]
  11. Nobody appreciated my "revenge" motive. *sniff*
  12. Benjamin Franklin Mr. Ed George Washington
  13. It's difficult selecting only five because my evolutionary process encompassed more than five milestone recordings, plus I don't recall the titles. Something or other by Glenn Miller ARTISTRY IN RHYTHM[or an album containing it]--Stan Kenton Something or other by Count Basie LIVE AT BIRDLAND--Maynard Ferguson Something or other by John Coltrane MINGUS PRESENTS MINGUS

I think that's correct. I never needed to log in before. Now I have to sometimes (and sometimes not - dunno why that is) but never realise it until I want to post something, unless I'm looking at the sexiest album sleeves thread If this is happening to everyone, then I guess that might account for it. MG The only time that I've had to re-log in is when the board went down[because I never log out]. Btw, if you leave this site without logging out, do others see you as an active/present member at the bottom of the Forum Home page? [inquiring minds need to know.]
  15. Cheadle's a hell of an actor. I just saw Hotel Rwanda the other night.
  16. It's a beautiful comfortable low 80s right now. We've been having upper 80s for highs w/low humidity for the past couple of days, and it's supposed to continue through next week, highly unusual for July. The birds are singing, the sun's shining...my o my what a wonderful day.
  17. Danny DiVito Johnny Hodges Johnny Appleseed
  18. I do it to get revenge for them partying late and subjecting me to their thump thumping music.
  19. We all gotta go sometime. Rip Tammy Faye.
  20. time for a facelift? Aye Matey, awwwwk!
  21. I know a $1,000 isn't anything to sneeze at, but, you might want to check pawn shops. Sometimes you can get deals on jewelry there. We have a couple in the area that specializes in jewelry; one in preowned stuff that you can get quality stuff at very reasonable prices. This shop happens to be pretty honest and straight forward with customers, is upfront with what they paid for items even. I sold an engagement ring to them, they told me they'd give me half of what they would sell it for; really upfront, I can respect that. BTW, your avatar creeps me out.
  22. Jimmy Crackcorn Jimmy Smith Joey DeFrancesco
  23. I suppose that could be linked..heh...to gardening, you know, fertilizer and all.
  24. You are correct(if I may coin catesta's words). But, let's try to stay on topic: Why does Moose want Son-of-a-Weizen's Com Pro.
  25. They might not let on at the time, but, some high-maintenance babes might scoff at a $1,000 diamond ring. 'Course, you could beg and plead and fast talk that you'll replace it at a later date. Good luck.
