Well they reduced the price per disc and then only charged me for the number of discs. Booklet and Outer box included. Just first 2 discs missing I think. Will see when it arrives.

I missed out on a full set of the Braxton - got 6 disc partial set from Mosaic, which was good of them. Bit disappointed but I guess I can't be totally. Maybe able get those missing discs one day.

It seems to me aurelio you have all the info any us have easy access to. So its down to you... Let us know. For my money the jazz on film site was persuasive.

Looking at the moochin and jazz on film websites and trawling through all the amazon reviews, it appears to me that the set from jazz on film (www.jazzonfilmrecords.com) is getting all the press plaudits.

I wrote in jest - I think the whole tag list is rubbish (except perhaps for "Import" if you don't live in Andorra / Spain). I will be listening to my G Wilson Mosaic set to check for swearing though.

I have had a good look about and it appears to be a genuine online emporium. Things are tough in Greece so I can imagine a lot of people may be selling off collections. Some of the other stuff is amazing too - 1930s Armagnacs, Swords, Rare Malts and the other non-mosaic jazz box sets are a treasure trove as well. The fact its vinyl is a positive for some, me included. Apparently its priced as people ask for the prices - similar to a lot of antique markets in the uk where many store holders can be under one roof. I have requested a few prices so I will see what appears tomorrow.

That is just fucking insane, it has to be some kind of typo. The price of the mp3 version looks very reasonable indeed AND no shipping!

I was under the impression that Blue Note was going to be rolling out some amazing reissues and new releases this year to commemorate with the double anniversary this year. Its almost the end of July now and there seem to be fewer releases than ever from Blue Note. Has anyone heard anything regarding and RVGs or Connoisseurs or Vinyl Pressings or SACDs? or has Guy Hands the new head of EMI put a stop to such wasteful things as jazz releases.

I am not sure, I never had the more expensive set.

Bit of a late update - have listened to all 18 discs in the set now and the sound is great. The music ranges from good to fantastic of course. Verg glad I bought it.
