  1. I am working on new remastered individual cds of the material in the box. I box edition was "limited", not the music. Great news! As I said, you're a gentleman.
  2. In heavy rotation of late? Yep, expecially the last three records of the set, a (re) discovery.
  3. And I've spent years collecting at least ten thousand of those. I guess you spent less then three millions.
  4. J. S. Bach OVERTURES, The English Concert/Pinnock - Archiv
  5. The Band - STAGEFRIGHT - Capitol
  6. The Band - MUSIC FROM BIG PINK - Capitol
  7. Jackie McLean Mosaic.
  8. I just told the guy to stop or I'd sue his ass. Without any sarcastic suggestion about hemorrhoids ointment in the mail. You're a gentleman.
  9. Who was it that said: "Find something you enjoy doing and you'll never work a day in your life." A bit of an overstatement, but ... the right idea. I might blame fate: heirs' decision and stock exchanges crisis. Anyway so it goes
  10. Before the latest stock exchanges crisis, I was flirting with the idea of buying one of the largest jazz collection in Italy (vinyl) as an opportunity of changing job, I am pretty bored of my actual job, and as investment. I really thought hard about it. Fortunately the heirs of the previous owner decided otherwise. I guess I'd be pretty sick of moving and cataloging and packing and selling thousands of records.
  11. Excellent, thank you. That's me at the Polar Circle's crossing
  12. Well, you can be optimistic or pessimistic about it. Now let me in. Open that f****** door, Hal.
  13. Don't know, but if I were you I'd always carry the credit cards with me and by no means never let them alone close to the computer.
  14. Jackie McLean's Mosaic.
  15. Schubert's Complete Trios, Beaux Arts Trio, Philips box set.
  16. I wouldn't buy a used cartdrige unless I'd know personally the previous owner or I could audition it on my table. Now if I'd found a 10 K japanese 'Hattori Hanzo' handmade cartdrige for 50 bucks, I'd buy it and send it to Hanzo san in order to have it retipped, wich it would probably cost about half the price of a new one.
  17. I thought it could only happen in Spaghetti Western.
  18. My first serious earthquake experience was when I was a student at Pisa University. I was studying in the Scuola Normale library, top floor, a thirteen century building, the place where the infamous Count Ugolino was imprisoned with his family. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ugolino_della_Gherardesca It was the philosophical section of the library, apparently I was the only one who realized that an earthquake was going on, the other philosophy's students where so absorbed in their Hegel and Plato that didn't note that all the book shelves were vibrating. I understood that time that I wasn't a real philosopher.
  19. Does a 5.4 make jump the tonearm and cause a severe scratch to a Lexington pressing?
  20. You're not alone, Kemosabe.
  21. Just in case you're worry, our PM Berlusconi launched the proposal that the consumer states should meet to fix the price of oil. http://uk.reuters.com/article/oilRpt/idUKPAB00419520080713 So take it easy. I am thinkin' that we at organissimo could fix the original BN vinyl price, otherwise we could go for the cd version. Man, it's an hard job to find the funny side of my country.
  22. Yeah, those cubans have too much hair. I guess Miss Ciccone smokes Cohiba too.
  23. Nahh. What's wrong with aliens? Rude Gambler: You wanna conquer the world, you're going to need lawyers, right?
  24. Yep, pretty like the very same story.
