  1. :tup :tup We really need it.
  2. Bobby Hutcherson - San Francisco - stereo Liberty pressing. BTW I love it.
  3. I have the first two. Got them cheap when ECM/Watt dismissed vinyl, I think I never listened to them since. I'll spin them one of these days.
  4. Mmmhhh, I still prefer the old project. General "Buck" Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned? Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.
  5. Bob Dylan - The Bootleg Series volumes 1-3 - CBS box set, dutch pressing.
  6. Sorry to hear that. Anyway you don't really need 'that' black hole, dude! Give a spin to this.
  7. '...will happe-...'? Ray?
  8. Pope's name is Joe, or Benedict. I though it was Paul MaCartney and I thought: 'My God, if Macca is 80 y/o I am...'
  9. I bought Isaac Hayes' records because they have kaftans on the covers.
  10. And the boy saw too much movies in his youth.
  11. Interesting, thanks! Not a Marley's expert at all, I really believed that an "original Jamaican version" of "Catch a Fire" existed. Now I can trash that double plastic stuff and keep the vinyl.
  12. If you like Phase III then you will like the other two I think. Phase 1 is the 'hardest' of the 3 with George Coleman on tenor. Of course, I speak from experience of listening to the 2CD Conn set, heresy I know.. Thanks! About the 2CD Conn set, as the younger Holy Vinyl Collector said to the older One. 'Forgive them for they know not what they do'
  13. J. J. Johnson Mosaic.
  14. Horace Silver - The United States of Mind Phase III : All - BN. Like this one! What about Phase I and II, I never heard them?
  15. Horace Silver - Silver 'N Strings Play The Music Of The Spheres - BN
  16. How strange. Can't stand bikes but I like cars. In order to appreciate bikes you'd need some sunny days.
  17. Same here. I'd add that I appreciate the technical aspects, design and look of the gears as like I like motorbikes' ones, probably beyond their ultimate goal : listening music or driving, though driving a good bike is definitely more satisfying then a sloppy one. Funnily I don't care at all about cars.
  18. Auguri Bob! I had a full day, sorry for the delay!
  19. I found some of the comments pretty funny. BTW My comment would appear like this one: [This comment has been removed. Replies may also be deleted.]
  20. "I'll have the lot" Ah! I'll pass on the salmon mousse.
  21. Vinyl? Did someone say ''vinyl'?
  22. Tina Brooks - TRUE BLUE - MusicMatters 45 rpm reissue. Whatever one could think about SH, etc, they have a killer sound.
  23. Sorry, actually it's my job, but I couldn't find a suitable road from Rome to Maine on Google map. Feel free to PM me if you need any tech/artistic advice. Good luck.
  24. A CD doesn't really 'spin': it's a cold and mercyless laser that count holes...and it isn't John Lennon, so do yourself a favour and get the LP. Now they know how many holes it takes to fill a CD. Exactly: four thousands, according to experts. Now diggin: John Renbourn - Faro Annie - Transatlantic
  25. A CD doesn't really 'spin': it's a cold and mercyless laser that count holes...and it isn't John Lennon, so do yourself a favour and get the LP. Now SPINNING Lou Donaldson - Mr. Shing-a-ling - BN Liberty.
