So it might be true that his urn will be on stage. They really are sick bastards. That had me laughing. I never saw this before.

You should make that noise one of the tracks.

I read online Graham Chapman's urn with be on stage with them. Most likely not true, but if this were to happen, it would be in true Monty Python fashion. Offend as many as you can for the sake of the joke. Sort of like it was at his memorial service. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3f8_gMo1Ws

Brits take a crack at US geography

I quizzed myself. I knew just a few counties in Great Britain. Did I get the ones I marked off correct? -
Gary Bartz listens with his eyes shut. He also plays with his eyes shut. Vincent Herring also listens and plays with his eyes shut. another .

Terry's comment about the fear of getting booed for doing new material is a lame answer. A mixture of new and old skits would have been the best mixture, that's my opinion.

This show was at the Iridium in NYC.

Discovered in a private collection in Portland, the 1893 recording of "Mama's Black Baby Boy" by the New York-based Unique Quartet was one of only two copies known to exist and sold for $1,100. The other resides in the Library of Congress. A second Unique Quartet song, "Who Broke the Lock (on the Henhouse Door)?" from 1896, sold at the same auction for $1,900. The same buyer purchased both recordings, which pre-date vinyl records. The recordings were so rare that auctioneers at Saco River Auction Co. had no idea how much they might fetch. An appraiser had suggested they were worth $25,000 or more each before the auction. The cylinder recordings were played on an early-style phonograph that had the appearance of a Victrola-style player. But the music was etched in wax on cylinders instead of in the grooves of vinyl records, which were popular throughout the 20th century. The wax was so fragile that auctioneers didn't dare try to play them. Robert Darden, who's working to save black gospel music by digitizing existing vinyl recordings through the Black Music Restoration Project, said all pre-digital black sacred music is at risk, including music on cylinders, vinyl 78s, 45s, and LPs, and cassette recordings. In World War II, for example, many cylinder recordings and vinyl 78s were melted down and recycled to support the war effort, said Darden, a professor at Baylor University. "As a country, we just don't have a very good track record of recognizing, preserving and celebrating this music, this art form," Darden said. http://news.yahoo.com/1893-recording-black-vocal-group-auctioned-off-221229547.html

Robot Reportedly Commits Suicide After Becoming Fed Up With Doing Housework. One paranoid android took that Radiohead song a little too literally and reportedly switched itself on and maneuvered its way onto a hot plate, where it melted, setting fire to its owner’s house and effectively “killing itself.” Local outlets in Austria, where the incident took place, are calling it a “robot suicide,” saying that the robot became so despondent after being forced to do a ton of housework that it decided to turn itself on and then off itself. “I don’t know about the allegations of a robot suicide but the homeowner is insistent that the device was switched off – it’s a mystery how it came to be activated and ended up making its way to the hotplate,” one fireman who put out the blaze told the Daily Mail. We might want to be careful with how we treat our robotic servants–one day they could become our masters. I really don't know, other than someone is sending the disc to me. I believe it would be related to the Newport in NY series since George Wien is the announcer. -
