  1. I can't use this since it is for a MAC and I am on a PC. Thanks anyway.
  2. Here's one thread Another. This one I hope will one day surface; highly unlikely though.
  3. Yes, that works. It's getting the files to play on the MAC that is the issue. I'll try this. Thanks.
  4. I am still not getting this to work. The second file the audio is off by 2 seconds from the video. Anyone here know of a freeware product that I could use to convert to MP4 or another MAC format?
  5. Not really. The second file the audio is off by 2 seconds from the video.
  6. I have to admit I tried this. It does do a decent job in removing a lot of the pops due to dust. But it is not that easy removing the dried glue.
  7. Great news. I like to think our positive thoughts played a part in this.
  8. Teddy Winnie Christopher Robin
  9. Wow. I would never have known.
  10. William Tell Penn and Teller bank teller
  11. DL for me please.
  12. Al, thanks for your answers.
  13. Cuban pianist Bebo Valdes has died at 94. RIP. http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/latin-notas/1554320/bebo-valdes-cuban-music-giant-dies-at-94
  14. I have to say, I am not familiar with Del. I'll have to check out something with his playing on it. RIP Del.
  15. RIP George. Thanks for the music.
  16. Let's all send good vibes to Sonny. I've been listing to his RCA days today. "Our Man in Jazz." is what I have playing right now. Oleo 25 minutes long. He's the greatest!
  17. We had a discussion on this 2 weeks ago. At 82, I'm sure it takes longer to get over an illness.
  18. I'm trying this now. Waahlaah! Why didn't I think of that?! Hardbopjazz, I HIGHLY recommend trying Dropbox. I have been using it for years, and it is worth its weight in gold. Michael will also have to download it on his machine, but once you both go through the quick and easy setup process you'll be able to send him those files and not have to worry about whether his optical drive will get along with the DVD you've burned. You also want be confined to any file size limitations imposed by most e-mail providers. Dropbox is easy. I never new about this. Thanks.
  19. He can't read the DVD. His MAC locks up. I've tried three different times. I can do any of these formats
  20. That is what I will try next. Yes, and it didn't work. I can convert to just about any format. I tried MP4. Three DVDs and all didn't work.
  21. I am trying to make copies of some files on to a DVD from a Windows PC for Michael Weiss. When he tries to copy the files on his MAC it either crashes his MAC or fails. Anyone have a idea what I can do so he can access the DVD. The files are MP4 files, which is a native MAC format.
  22. Piano Man Piano Player Ohio Players
  23. Why don't you ask Sonny? I'm sure he'd be ultra-pleased to answer your question. I will. I did ask on his website. That's interesting! How would you have answered any questions about how you came across said recording? Sonny knows there are private recordings of him out there. All I asked was, in 1967, what playing at Club 43 in Manchester, who was playing piano. Oddly, my post on his guestbook page never made it there. I know he knows. He has also been known to stop their sale, as he did with the London gigs on Harkit. Well, I don't sell. I just happen to get a copy of this from someone.

  25. The pianist was Stan Tracey. I asked someone that reached out to Bill Birch years ago.
