  1. Nothing against an all female set, but Spalding has not been around that long to get the treatment of a Mosaic. I'm sure there are many women that are not apart of this set that should be included.

The team locate what is causing the haunt then remove the object from the home. The object is then placed in a museum in Connecticut. The person(s) always come back and say the problem stopped.

  12. Does anyone here now about this recording? I went into a local store that sells vinyl records. There was a copy of Jazz live from the Montreux Jazz Festival 1977. Side A was George Duke and Side B Woody Shaw. On the back of the LP it was stamped with, this is not for sale. For promotional purposes only, to promote the Montreux Jazz Festival. The radio station letters were stamped on the LP too. WRVR. I've never seen this before. Do you know about this recording? It wasn't in the best of shape or I would have bought the LP.
  13. Jeff Beck Jimmy Page Jim McCarty
  14. We probably discussed this in the past, but time to have a new discussion. What vinyl stores are in your area? Have you found any good deals?

  19. What happens? Butter is yellow! The joke obviously translates better in spanish Okay, can you let everyone else in on the joke?
  20. So is this some form of evolution/de-evolution with the listening audience? At one point when jazz was the pop music of the day, a large portion of the music was instrumental. People were listening and going to the clubs to hear the music live. At what point did the shift to the audience wanting to hear music with words? I agree the lack of words plays a large part why jazz isn't popular. It could also be how the big music companies promote music.
  21. I have the answer. Jim McNeely solo piano at Trumpets, Montclair, NJ 9/12/94
  22. Sonny is the quintessential master. There are two parts to the interview, the second part os down the page. PBS interview.
  23. I agree, there should be more jazz artists getting this recognition.
  24. Some more on this subject I agree with a lot of what Bret is saying.
  25. Go figure. I would have guest the sound track from Alfie. At the State Department reception for the Kennedy Center Honors, December 3, 2011, while Yo-Yo Ma and Meryl Streep listen, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tells Sonny that "The Bridge" is her favorite recording. Sonny's website
