  15. Yes, they both made this a better world with the music they left us. I always loved Dexter's version of the "Christmas Song." It is by far my favorite version of the tune.

  17. Same as Mark. There is nothing like the live experience. There's just one take and the musicians have to get it right the first time.
  18. I am working on speed correction of something and I know that the music is running fast. Just how fast I can't tell. Anyone with perfect pitch you can give a listen to a small clip and say this is running 20 cents fast or whatever it is?

  21. How does someone make an appointment to view something in the Library of Congress? There is a file of the1958 Monterey Jazz Festival with, Sonny Rollins, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Carter and Gerry Mulligan and others recently added there. I plan on being in D.C. in early spring and would want to get a chance to see this film.
