Is landscape and Jazz Connoisseur legit labels? I was looking at some Grimes' session and a few I believe to be bootlegs are on Landscape and Jazz Connoisseur labels. Anyone can shed some light on these two labels?

Same as Mark. There is nothing like the live experience. There's just one take and the musicians have to get it right the first time.

I am working on speed correction of something and I know that the music is running fast. Just how fast I can't tell. Anyone with perfect pitch you can give a listen to a small clip and say this is running 20 cents fast or whatever it is?

How does someone make an appointment to view something in the Library of Congress? There is a file of the1958 Monterey Jazz Festival with, Sonny Rollins, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Carter and Gerry Mulligan and others recently added there. I plan on being in D.C. in early spring and would want to get a chance to see this film.

Hopefully we will spin some of their music and they will never leave us.
