I'm glad I was able to see Horace live a number of times. He always was very friendly with the audience. The tribute shows at the Iridium will bring back those memories.

I didn't know you could get tickets in advance. I usually just call and make reservations. I will buy my ticket today. This is going to be a real swinging show.

Horace Silver being one of my musical idols, I sent an email over a year ago to the admin on his web site and never got a reply or seen the board cleaned up. I say shut the site down. Horace should be remembered for his wonderful music he has given the world. I know he is still with us, but it doesn't seem like he'll recover.
