  1. Another one recommended here by Chuck, and every time I listen to it, I'm glad he did that.

  3. Don't know that one, but playing some Ives is almost always a good thing.
  4. Listening to this reminded me what an incentive trumpeter/musician Don Ellis was.
  5. I didn't realize that Henny Youngman was a member here.
  6. I'm sure there are many here who have other opinions (and that's a good thing - constant agreement can be deadly), but for me that was the last great Mingus band also.
  7. Was just thinking - I bought my mono copy 54 years ago. Good to know that it's lasted that long and still sounds good, and strange to realize that I bought it that long ago (when I was a teenager).
