At least two. "Ain't Nobody's Business", with Jimmy Witherspoon fronting McShann's band was the "best selling race record of 1949" , according to Wikipedia. And "Hands Off", by McShann's band with Priscilla Bowman doing the vocal, was number one on the R&B charts for three weeks in December, 1955.
