  1. Hank Mobley with Donald Byrd and Lee Morgan
  2. I'm happy for them that that they seem to have had a long-lived relationship (both personal and musical) but that doesn't change my indifferent feelings about the music.
  3. People can talk about different eras, but no one has done what Russell did in any era.
  4. Good accomplishment, but what does that make Bill Russell's eleven championship rings in thirteen years of playing?
  5. Too many factors involved for me to give an answer - how I'm feeling, the type of music, etc.
  6. The Incredible String Band: On Air
  7. Bo Carter: Twist It Babe - 1931 - 1940 (Yazoo)
  8. Another listen - some of Fahey's best and my favorite live Fahey.
  9. R.B. Kitaj: Confessions of an Old Jewish Painter
  10. I already have most of those in other forms, but it would be good to have them presented in proper order. Not sure how much of an audience there would be, since much (all?) has already been released and seems to be still available.
  11. At the right time, try to sit back, relax, close your eyes, and listen. You'll probably be rewarded.
  12. Buddy Guy: I Was Walking Through the Woods
  13. The 6 & 7/8s String Band of New Orleans: Echoes of Tom Anderson's (American Music)
  14. I think I'd rather listen to Frank Strozier elsewhere and forget I ever heard the rest.
  15. Elmore James - John Brim: Whose Muddy Shoes
  16. Walter Roland - Lucille Bogan: Jookit Jookit (Yazoo)
  17. Mr. and Mrs. Bridge Joyce Randolph Demond Wilson
  18. Happy Birthday, Jim! (And thanks once again for providing a home away from home for all of us.)
