It is, although not a grab you by the lapels album. I think Side 2 is the stronger. I've listened to this several times now, and like it more each time. There is that sense of higher artistic aims about it.
That's very interesting. Does anyone know if they have access to the original CJR master tapes or are they sourcing this from digital files?
I do notice that they are using the now de rigeur exotic wooden box for the set.

I always thought that Manny ran the dollars and cents/ selling aspect of DMG, while Bruce G. did the community involvement/artist interaction/music reviews aspect, to divide it rather simply. (Manny is pretty knowledgable himself when it comes to music). So what is the new situation going to be?
