  2. I recall that in somewhat younger days, Cecil used to dance prior to, and during performances. So the dance performance at the award ceremony is entirely fitting. besides, Cecil, has been a fan of Japanese performing arts.   16. I like to spin records that have to do with the transition from old to new, changing time, and new possibilities, so my first spins were Jackie McLean: IT'S TIME!, NEW SOIL and NEW AND OLD GOSPEL.
