Clunky Posted August 20, 2004 Report Share Posted August 20, 2004 Fopp in UK has this for £5 at the moment, exciting stuff but sounds wise it's a little harsh on the ears but still acceptable enough. brownie Posted August 20, 2004 Report Share Posted August 20, 2004 Phil Woods was leading his European Rhythm Machine at the time of the Montreux festival album. A good record! Even better was the 'Phil Woods & His European Rhythm Machine' LP that was published on the Pierre Cardin label. The unit had Gordon Beck, Henri Texier and Daniel Humair by then. This was also issued on Inner City vinyl. Not sure it came out on CD but definitely worth seeking. The disc has excellent versions of 'Chromatic Banana' and 'The Day When The World...'.
