Big Al
BMG didn't say anything about 'mistake' 10-CD BACH set, so I guess I have some extra discs. Anybody interested in BACH? Can I get BACH to you on that? I tell ya, after reading everyone's posts, I guess I'll inform BMG of the error. Heck, maybe they'll send the correct disc and forget about the "error!" Worth a shot, and either way, I get some prime Monk out of it!
Tjazz
BMG has made 'error' shipment to me in the past. Several times they email me and said that I could keep the 'mistake' and they would also send the correct CD. No extra charges. scottb
Just got my fulfillment disc with its 2 free compadres. I just gotta say that BMG's service continues to improve. Does anyone remember the days when your initial shipment would take 8 weeks to get there? It was so long you forgot it was coming and what you had ordered. You could suprise yourself with new music. I recently rejoined (Thanks Big Al) and I got my initial shipment in about a week! This order came in under a week. One of my freebies was the BLUE TRAIN RVG. Decided to upgrade from The Ultimate Blue Train. Even though it's on loan, so I can't A-B it directly, the RVG sounds great and noticibly better than what I'm used to. I think one reason I like RVGs is that it the bass is more prominent. On a lot of old McMasters you're not even sure the bassist showed up and often, if and when there's a bass solo, I usually think the song is over. BFrank
Thanks for the "heads-up", Aggie. I'll have to check those out. +++ Later: I just checked it out. There's a spread of prices from $1.99 - $3.99. I would warn everyone to stay away from the $3.99-ers, because after you're through paying S&H, it won't seem like such a bargain after all. Leeway
My order arrived today and I also received Underground in place of It's Time, but I also ordered Underground. Now I have two! Between my 2 memberships (jazz and classical) I've ordered about 30 discs in the last month with an average cost under $5, thanks to a bunch of doubles. I didn't realize you could set up 2 different acounts. How does that work? I, too, have strong interests in both jazz and classical, and all this talk of great deals has me onthe verge of signing up. Should I sign up for 2 accounts?

Big Al
And even then, times may vary. I've had two orders ship this month, one on the 11th (a Friday) and one on the 14th (a Monday). The shipment from the 11th arrived the following Thursday (the 18th), yet I'm still waiting on the one from the 14th (the holidays, no doubt, have something to do with this). Joe G
Should I sign up for 2 accounts? I've got two accounts as well. I think I was already in the jazz club, then they sent me an entry offer to the classical side. I don't know how they manage to stay in business with stunts like that, but hey, might as well go for it!

GA Russell
Could someone please print out the entire list of jazz clearance CDs? With my membership, I don't have access to it anymore. More important than the price, I think, is the heads up that they will soon stop carrying those titles. So if you want them from BMG, it's speak now or forever hold your peace. WD45
There is an early-years Bill Monroe compilation on RCA available in the country clearance for $1.99. I listened to it on my way in to work this morning. It was before Earl Scruggs joined the band and before bluegrass, but it is some superb old-time 'pickin and a singin.' Also picked up the Taraf de Haidouks album for $1.99. Haven't dug into that yet. It should also be noted that they now have listed the 'Live at Sin-e' Legacy Edition of the Jeff Buckley EP. It comes with a DVD!

WD45
I got that Harder They Come soundtrack earlier this month from BMG. That is awesome--I had never heard it before, and the bonus disc has a bunch of gems on it, too! I wish they would get the Coltrane "Coltrane" deluxe edition. I often wonder what makes them choose one thing [the "Ballads" deluxe edition] and not other things.
