guitar and bass duets

Marsh, Abercrombie, Graves

Upon a Time

NA020

an album of duets featuring percussionist George Marsh with John Abercrombie, guitar, and Mel Graves, bass

I think the tracks with Abercrombie and Graves count.

I can't think of many. Here's this one with Pat and Charlie, any others.

Beyond The Missouri Sky (Short Stories)

Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden

There are many guitar-bass duet albums, but the Metheny-Haden is my absolute favorite. An essential album imo.

Definitely this one, and I think there's another with these two, right?

I like "Chops". Don't think that Joe Pass and NHOP recorded many times before or after as a duo though they played together many times as sidemen for others.

Joe has a live duo album with REd Mitchell:

Finally: Live in Stockholm

Jim Hall has a few albums in the duo format. With Ron Carter:

Alone Together - This one is my personal favorite.

Telephone

and many duets with different bass players on that one:

Jim Hall & Basses
