Guest Chaney Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 No doubt we've all noticed that Organissimo band members and family get their names lit in a pretty blue or purple color at the bottom of the main and each forum page. How about if members reaching a certain number of posts (5K? 6k? 7k?...) get their names colored? Jim: You were looking for stuff to fill your idle moments, right? I believe it's ideas such as this that will help raise board morale to heights never before seen! Or I'll just look like an idiot... which may also help raise board morale. Quote
Jazz Kat Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Great, make me more acnxious to get 100 posts. Quote
Michael Fitzgerald Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Ugh - yet another thing that promotes quantity over quality. We've got at least one poster who has over 600 posts in just over 2 weeks and still hasn't said anything worth reading. Talking to hear one's own voice shouldn't be rewarded. I would support an award for "least prolific and most profound". Mike Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Troublemakers like Chaney are what's ruining this board. Isn't it enough he's been running other members off! B-) Quote

CHE did quite a job on ranking up his number. Quote

Guest Chaney Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Troublemakers like Chaney are what's ruining this board. Isn't it enough he's been running other members off! B-) Oh yea, mister? Just wait until the likes of Mr. John Litweiler get word of my not-at-all-lame idea. THEN, no more his posting one or two somewhat oblique comments per week. With the promise of his name in (quick! what's his favorite color!) chartreuse, THEN the floodgates will OPEN! Admit it Chuck: you're on the phone right now telling your jazz-savvy friends of this possible new board feature. I can feel the buzz. Mike: Some folks will always be productive ( ) posters so for them, this'll hardly matter. Quote
Jazz Kat Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 (edited) How come in every forum post numbers come up. Who cares! When you are talking with friends, do you count and limit the words you say? Now if you just talk chicken shit, it's pointless, but just let these people who post nothing worth reading alone. They no they have know life, and that's worse. B-) Edited March 8, 2005 by Jazz Kat Quote
