Durium
Can someone obtain me the recording date for Blue Skies The Chant both by Bob Brookmeyer/Zoot Sims Quintet?
J.A.W.
According to my Black Lion reissue Tonite's Music Today of this Storyville material these tunes were recorded in NYC in February 1956. Discographer/board member Michael Fitzgerald might have the exact/correct info.

Chuck Nessa
Do you have any discographies?
Durium
Sure: about twenty, excluding all the online discos ...... I even wrote four of them myself :-) but no one that has this information in it. Edited April 11, 2005 by Durium
Michael Fitzgerald
May I advise that either (or both) the Bruyninckx or Lord CDROMs be your next purchase? Both these have the information that you requested and one or both should be in the library of anyone who asks as many of these kind of questions. Unfortunally I don't have the possibility to consult this book or CD-Rom here in the rural territories in the south-west part of the Netherlands five feet below sea level and I can't afford to buy myself a copy. I hope some nice friends will help me, every now and then, if I'm asking for a "date".
