Down by 30%, ONLY in Los Angeles....... Leage does not need Shaq and the Lakers, both were LOSERS this year. Pistons PA announcer cracks me up too. Yeah, flames dangerous. NOOOOOOooooooo you cannot have Pistons in game five. You are just trying to jinx the Pistons, I'm hip to you Soulstation! GO DETROIT PISTONS Edited June 17, 2005 by BruceW Quote

BruceW Posted June 19, 2005 Report Posted June 19, 2005 The Spurs are finished. The Pistons cut their hearts out in game 4, which is what a champion is supposed to do. Sunday will actually break the backs of the Spurs. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted June 19, 2005 Report Posted June 19, 2005 I wouldn't be so quick, although I want Detroit to win the championship again. One could've easily said that the Spurs broke the Pistons after kicking their butts two straight games. Obviously that didn't happen. It would be great if the Pistons won again tonight! If they lose, they really have an uphill battle. This is a pivotal game. GO PISTONS!!! Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted June 19, 2005 Report Posted June 19, 2005 i got the pistons in game five ss1 ← Damn! We're toast then.. wait... did you actually place a bet, ss1? If you didn't, then we still have a chance! Quote
Soulstation1 Posted June 19, 2005 Author Report Posted June 19, 2005 i don't bet my $$$$ on sports like i did back in the day, early 1990's i'll make a small wager ($5 max) or cd of choice on a series from time to time it's a lot cheaper to post my picks here and let you guyzz rip on me i had picked the pistons at the start of the finals ss1 Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 After watching Ginobili for these past five games, I don't think he's a very good player at all. I think he's crafty and exploits the fact that refs almost never call traveling. Every time he makes one of those "how'd he do that?" plays, it's because he travels. Just a moment ago he made a drive to the basket and when they showed it in reply from the camera on top of the backboard, I counted four whole steps between his last dribble and making the layup. Soulstation1 Posted June 20, 2005 Author Report Posted June 20, 2005 big ben shoots an airball from the f/t line niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 big ben shoots an airball from the f/t line niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ← I think that's what Ben calls the "Shaq Attaq". Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 OT, baby!!! Pistons have a VERY good record in OT. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 I saw Ginobili travel on that particular move Jim mentioned. I would disagree, however, in saying that he isn't a good player. His quickness definitely causes problems. That $##^&@#$ Robert Horry! He has singlehandedly kept the Spurs in the game. Tayshaun was terrific in the fourth quarter and overtime periods. Currently, Pistons are in timeout preparing for the last shot of the game. Here's the ballgame and likely the series outcome coming up... Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 GO PISTONS!!!!!!!!!!!! Four Ben Wallaces for winning FOUR games against the Spurs!!!!!!! C'MON!!! Quote
Brandon Burke Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 Yeah, leave Horry open with seconds left in overtime. Uugh... Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 DAMN!!!! Pistons really have an uphill battle. They should've won this one. Why would you leave Horry open!??? Didn't they learn anything from the Kings/Lakers series!??! Oh well.... it ain't over yet. Quote
Guy Berger Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 Prince of darkness (R Horry) rips the Pistons' hearts out... That guy is pure evil. I figure Spurs ice this thing in game 6, but it's not over until it's over. Guy Quote

Guy Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted June 20, 2005 Report Posted June 20, 2005 No shit, Duncan was horrible from the freethrow line. Pistons should've won this one. I'm very disappointed they left Horry open. As soon as I saw him inbound the ball I thought, "Someone better step out on him!" He was wide open. Stupid stupid stupid. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted June 20, 2005 Author Report Posted June 20, 2005 i'm still livin' in the past Quote
