Holy Shit! That really is a goofy amount of money! When this thread came up again, I decided to get out disc one and listen to it again. The music is good, and the sound really is remarkable (but then, Capitol was high-tech from the beginning), but it ain't $888 good!

Big distinction between the asking price and what really sells. No one will ever buy that Amazon copy. The most expensive Ebay auction I've seen was $182 and the cheapest was $62. I am looking to complete my Select collection and this one is the White Whale.

Picked it up about a year or so ago for around £40 along with a couple of other 'OOP' Selects. It was well disguised in its rack but it didn't fool me.
