Aggie87
Just noticed this one on alankin's website, due out in a couple weeks! Trio date with Matt Brewer on bass and Tain Watts on drums. Includeds covers of Ornette ("Mob Job") and Dolphy ("Miss Ann"). This sounds VERY interesting to me!

sal
Wasn't Jack DeJohnette supposed to be on drums for this one?
jlhoots
That Brewer kid is a good bass player.
Quincy
It will be nice to be buying something new during the big reissue week/month! I've been looking foward to this too. I hadn't bothered to check the tracklisting. So we're getting something(s) old with the something new.
Rob C
This is a pretty nice disc. I'd call it a "very good" rather than great, maybe, but definitely worth getting. I'm surprised no one is commenting on it, but maybe there's too much new to listen to this week with the RVGs. I'm a fan of Osby, I think he's a real standout in the modern mainstream of the music. His records always sound up-to-the-minute.
