jazzbo
According to the box set discography, there is only one track, Archie Moore, without trumpet.

jazzbo
I don't believe that there is trumpet on the final four minutes of this composite; I'm going to listen and post back in a few minutes.

l p
i think there are several tracks without trumpet. for example, cd 2 - track 2 'go ahead john' 'part 2c'.
jazzbo
Well, they're not listed on the discography that way, but possibly so. I won't be able to listen for a while.

GA Russell
I have a number of the Miles boxes, not every one. I pull out a new CD once every three months. I keep them in their own jewel cases. I wasn't particularly enamored with CD1 of the Jack Johnson box, but it is what it is. In February I opened up CD2, and liked it even less. I've played it very little. This evening I took CD2 off the shelf to see if I would like it any more, not having heard it in many weeks, and it broke as I was removing it from the jewel case! Bummer. Cracked all the way from the edge to the center hole. On the one hand, I'm sorry I can't replace it. On the other hand, I didn't like it, so maybe that is the best one of my collection to break! Soulstation1
Is the Jack Johnson set .OOP? I saw a used copy for $38 Thanks
ATR
Is the Jack Johnson set .OOP? I saw a used copy for $38 Thanks The box may be out of print, but it is available. http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Jack-Johnso...1177&sr=1-1 The question is whether you'll be getting the 'metal spine' or 'long box' edition. I think that Legacy discontinued the original metal spine boxes in favor of long box, digipak type boxes. If you have a preference, as some people do, you may have trouble getting the one you want since the box type isn't specified in this link. But from the picture, as well as the other package that amazon lists, it looks like this is the 'metal spine' box.
